Video and Audio file formats - access and
usage
- 'The audio and video files used in the NIAS profiles are in Windows
Media Format (.wma and .wmv) which can be viewed using the Windows Media
Player that comes as a standard plugin with the Internet Explorer browser.
- If you are having trouble accessing the files, it may be that the
network is not enabling you to stream the file to the player due to
bandwidth limitations.
- To overcome this, right click on the link and choose 'Save Target
As' to save it to a convenient location on your hard disk then open
the file from there.
- This may take several minutes to complete.
- Alternatively, the problem may be overcome by using the latest version
of the Windows Media Player.
- To
upgrade your player, download and install it for free from Microsoft
Windows Media Technologies.
